Manitowoc, Wisconsin, USA - TWH Collectibles announced today the plans for new 1:50 scale Grove® liveries of the RT540E, GMK4100L and GMK5095. Companies from countries around the globe are represented in this diverse production.
Each livery will have a run of 150 units and will feature the following company decorations: Kokosing, Saraiva, Michielsen's, Altéad, Ayala, Krandienst, Weiland, Transcran Essen, N-Force, Verschoor, Ayala, Eschbach, Meade Crane, Aertssen-Kranen, Mediaco, Fahrenholz, and Membrey's.
The models are new additions to Manitowoc Model Shop's line of scale models which includes crawler cranes, mobile hydraulic cranes, boom trucks and tower cranes. Manitowoc’s models are known for their high quality, precise detail, and accuracy in features and functions.
“We’re excited about the overwhelming response from Manitowoc’s customers who desire to have replicas of machines in their fleet,” said Nicholas Neumann, Vice President of Sales and Marketing with TWH Collectibles. “This year’s program showcases some unique paint schemes and are sure to be popular with museum class collectors.”
Functions and features of the Grove models include functioning outriggers, steerable axles, pivoting jib, detailed engine compartment, extendable boom, rotating carbody, accurate decal package, chrome muffler stack and photoetch grating. They will be packaged in a custom-designed Manitowoc box and include a reduced-size product guide.
The models will feature an MSRP ranging from $190 to $295 and will be available in late December 2010 and January 2011.
