TWH COLLECTIBLES RELEASES MECHANIC TRUCK SCALE MODEL download pdf
April 20, 2009
Manitowoc, Wisconsin, USA — TWH announced today the debut of the 1:50 scale — mechanic truck on a
Peterbilt Model 335 chassis.
“The idea of completing a mechanic truck scale model replica came after visiting Kern County Fire
Department in Bakersfield, CA, during the development of the Pierce® Quantum® Pumper models,” said
John Moore, Program Manager of TWH Collectibles. “Although the initial intent of the program was to
replicate Kern County mechanic truck, we realized that the model had applicability across the
construction, mining and utilities markets.”
Initial production includes Kern County Fire Department, Vermeer Corporation and Manitowoc Crane
Care. Sword Precision Scale Models will debut versions including Kokosing, ALL Erection, white and red.
Functions and features of the mechanic truck include 360 degree rotating crane with angle meter,
opening tool storage doors, hose and wires, compressor, generator, gas and air tanks, chrome grill,
muffler stack and exhaust, steerable wheels and suspension, opening cab doors, detailed inner cab and
accurate decal package. Accessories also include a creeper and traffic cones.
The mechanic truck features an MSRP of $150, and is limited in production ranging from 250-500 pieces
of each of the seven decorations. Those interested in purchasing a Peterbilt Model 335 Mechanic Truck
scale model should contact a TWH Licensed Distributor or an authorized TWH reseller. Please visit
