Manitowoc, Wisconsin, USA — TWH Collectibles announced today that they have been awarded the 2008 Manufacturer of the Year by FireEngines.net, a world-renown diecast model forum and review website. FireEngines.net was founded in 1998 by Larry Lorance in Plano, TX, and has become a popular forum dedicated to diecast and fire enthusiast alike.

“The readers of FireEngines.net are proud to present TWH Collectibles their “2008 Manufacturer of the Year” award.  An amazing 77% of the votes went to TWH. In 2008, TWH released the 1:50 scale Pierce® Quantum® Pumper, replicating the exact configuration in use by Kern County Fire Department in California. Future releases include other department configurations such as Honolulu, County of Henrico, Seminole County, and San Antonio.
