Manitowoc, Wisconsin, USA - TWH Collectibles announced today the debut of the 1:50 scale Pierce Velocity series of replicas. The much anticipated introduction includes two Velocity Pierce Ultimate Configurations (PUC) and one Velocity 75' Heavy Aluminum Ladder (HAL) model. The three additions to the Pierce model line-up will be unveiled at the Pierce booth #8647 at the Fire Department Instructor’s Conference (FDIC) 2010 in Indianapolis from April 22 through April 24.

The models will be available for an MSRP of $200-230, and are limited in production to 525 pieces each of department specific configurations of the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport Fire Services (TX) PUC, Miami-Dade County Fire Rescue Department (FL) PUC and Frisco Fire Department (TX) HAL. The models are scheduled to be available at the end of 2010.

Functions and features of the PUC and HAL replicas include an opening cab revealing a detailed engine and transmission, steerable and rotating front wheels, functioning TAK-4® suspension, photoetch grill and diamond plate decking. Additional features include front and rear tow hooks, air conditioning unit and accurate front bumper configuration. The HAL model also includes a replicated diecast ladder.
